TLS/KVA Featured at Public Meetings, April 28, 29 and 30

As the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board kicks off the MR|DI, we’re engaging in a “two-way education” process.

The first three public meetings next week (see calendar listing at right, or today’s news release) will feature TLS/KVA, the winning Minneapolis Riverfront Design Competition team, who will share a presentation about their RiverFIRST design. It’s really a chance to go deeper into the insights and intricacies of a very thoughtful city-building design. Just as importantly, these meetings also make time for continuing education, if you will, for the designers and the Park Board about your insights into the river and how you connect with it.

All three sessions of these public meetings will have the same agenda, and by offering it during the day and evening, as well as weekdays and Saturday, we’re hoping the information-sharing will be more accessible to more people. Check back here next week for the advance agenda. If you can’t make any of the times, we’ll post here a link to video from the sessions in the days following the meetings.
